About

Board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. Undergraduate education from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, graduating magna cum laude. Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Temple, Texas, and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Residency training in orthopedic surgery at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. Extensive training in upper and lower extremity orthopedic trauma and fracture care at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center in Memphis. Special interest in sports medicine, joint reconstruction, and treating knee conditions of all ages. Team coverage experience includes assisting the St. Louis Cardinals AAA affiliate Memphis Redbirds baseball team and multiple Memphis area high schools. Currently serves as a team physician for Colleyville Heritage High School. Fellowship trained in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. Additional areas of expertise include conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle sports injuries, arthritis, fracture care, tendon and ligament disorders, deformity correction, painful flat feet and high arches, bunions, hammertoes, and neuromas. His special interests include ankle replacement, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, and reconstruction of complex fractures and deformities. Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS). Authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented research at the national level on the topics of foot and ankle reconstruction and joint replacement.
