Board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Arlington Medical Degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Internship and residency in general surgery. Research on the treatment of fracture nonunions, writing several papers and presenting his research at national and international meetings. Fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction in Cincinnati, Ohio, publishing an editorial for The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Served in several leadership positions in local hospitals, including chief of surgery. Previously served as the director of the Total Joint Program at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine and is a member of their Physician Leadership Team. Currently the director of the Orthopedic Trauma Center at Texas Health Harris Methodist HEB Hospital, which is a Level III Trauma Center. Has served on the Board of Trustees at Dallas Christian College and as a team physician for several professional, semi professional, collegiate, and high school athletic teams and for the Texas Motor Speedway.
