Medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, in Houston, Texas. Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Knee Surgery at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Los Angeles, California. Trained with Dr. Douglas Jackson who was a pioneer in the field of sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder.
