Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Specializes in performing everything from complex spinal reconstruction to minimally invasive spinal surgery. Performs the following techniques for both children and adults in South Texas: microendoscopic discectomy, thoracoscopic anterior spinal fusion and instrumentation, minimally invasive spinal decompression, and minimally invasive spinal fusion with instrumentation. Medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Internship in general surgery and a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Completed his fellowship training in spinal surgery at the Twin Cities Spine Center in Minnesota. Medical director of the Texas Spinal & Thoracic Treatment Institute at Methodist Children's Hospital which provides services to children from around the world. Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the Texas Medical Society, Scoliosis Research Society, Pediatric Orthopedic Society, Bexar County Medical Society, and North American Spine Society.
