Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry while minoring in psychology at Doane University. Academic All-American and GPAC all-conference honors as a member of the football team during this time. Medical Degree, Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Graduated with Honors – Pi Delta Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, in Fort Worth, TX, Served as the chief resident for his residency program. Manages all aspects of foot and ankle care, from bunions and hammertoes to complex foot and ankle deformities. Passionate about wound care and limb preservation, as well as advanced trauma and reconstruction. Involved in clinical research, having published in multiple journals, and has been invited to speak at local and national events.
